The Zealots- Thurs., Nov. 2nd; Foggy Mountain Brew Pub 

Hi Folks! Come see us play our new favorite venue in Asheville. Foggy Mtn Brew Pub is right beside The Altamont Theatre on Church St. Great food and a cool coterie of regulars. You'll hear some new songs that are going to be on our two soon to be released records, George Trouble's- "Plow" (my first solo release) and The Zealots- "Jawbone"..the 4th..and the best Zealots record.

We are busily creating! Aaron Price and GT laid down rhythm tracks to 11 tunes at Kudzu Ranch with Rick Miller and Dave Hartman of Southern Culture on the Skids..AND Dex Romweber! Also, Caleb Beissert and JD Smith laid down 5 very different GT songs with Matt Williams at Eagle Room...and Aaron and Mike Rhodes oiled the pocket for 5 tunes at Sound Temple with Robert George..MORE COMING!! Now, GT will be woodshedding the rest of the summer..happily! Can't wait to unleash!!!!

ZEALOTS@ Lazy Diamond: Sun., 3/20 8pm-"Tiki Nite"  

COME SEE the 4pc at downtown Asheville's most important nite spot! LAZY DIAMOND runs a "Tiki Bar Nite" on Sundays to give bands who live local but work on the road an opportunity to stretch it out at home. The ZEALOTS are delighted to have Tony Black join us for a tasty batch of tunes played as a 4 pc..Expect Hi Energy!
WHERE HAVE THE ZEALOTS BEEN? Well friends, we are 'woodshedding'..To be exact, we have begun recording for 2 records this year..One will be the first GT Solo effort, and The ZEALOTS 4th release, tentatively entitled "The Cautionary Tales". Our live performances will be fewer until we have finished producing new stuff! The MOST ENERGIZING project is an animated video for "Another Head", already underway with the assistance of the UNCA New Media Dept. Come hear some new tunes before they become part of the vernacular!

GT in NASHVILLE-Sept. 2015 

It's been a fun week here in Nashville. We heard The HoneycuttersThanks to my friend Johnny and Gabe Masterson at Eastside Manor for a strong day recording...I heard Blackfoot Gypsies twice on Sunday..We are ole pals..They are really powerful now..They will be in Asheville soon..We also hung out with the legendary Bebe Buell and caught her band rockin the Basement East..Robyn Hitchcock gave an inspiring presentation to Gillian Welch and Dave Rawlings at the Americana Awards. We were all enjoying Blackfoot Gypsies together..The ZEALOTS are 'fixin' to record another record..There will be a George Terry Solo record soon too..Just lettin' y'all know that things are happening..Keep your ears wide open!

George Terry plays Nashville Aug. 19th! 7pm 

GT Solo breaks into Music City for the first time Wed., Aug. 19th at The BUILDING..a venue in 5 Points in East Nashville. GT also returns to East Side Manor Studio to record some more new songs solo. ESM and the East Nashville neighborhood are a hotbed of energy these days. Todd Snyder, Tim Easton, Aaron Lee Tasjan, Megan Palmer, Darren Blackburn are just a few of the names of folks working and living there. Look for a new group of like-minded songwriters called Campfire Propaganda to pop out this year...as well as a couple of records from GT and one from The ZEALOTS too!! Plus..animated videos!

GEORGE TERRY SOLO @ JAZZFEST!..and ATLANTA 4/28-5/1. UPDATE! 

Howdy All ZEALOUS SOULS! GEORGE TERRY is playing New Orleans this week! Along with NOLA rockers, the GERANIUMS! (GT's first trip ever to New Orleans begins today...with a missed flight and a sleepless nite in ATL Airport..GT practiced guitar all nite and it was big fun serenading airport employees! Two house parties in walking distance from JazzFest fairgrounds (Tues. & Thurs. 8-12pm) and ChazFest (Wed) are coming up this week in NOLA! Details later tonite! Then all Atlanta area friends can see GT @ 3 Dollar Cafe in W. Midtown, 1000 Northside Dr, Fri., May 1st 8-11pm
